UPDATE:
June 14, 2007: The SF Chron released the affidavit that the DA’s office used to get an arrest warrant for Jew. The evidence is so overwhelming that my Schadenfreude actually gave way to genuine pity. For like, a minute. Then I continued giggling.
June, 15, 2007: Meanwhile, on the deck of the Tapioca Titanic, Jew supporters held a rally insisting that there is a chance in hell that Jew is innocent of the charges against him. Bless their hearts! Sample defense from Calvin Louie: "You cannot judge a man by the amount of water he uses. I know Ed Jew. He is a very frugal man." Good one, Cal. Maybe Ed eats alot of Twinkies, too.
The good news about the rally is that reaction to it produced the quote of the year from Rose Pak: "Our community leaders should not bury their head in the sand and try to blame it on somebody else. I wish these people would stop talking so everybody doesn't think we're all morons."
June 15, 2007: Despite being given 24 days (May 23 through June 15, folks) in which to fabricate additional documents that prove he lives in District 4, Jew let the June 15 deadline to submit documents to the City Attorney come and go without a peep. Good grief! It would take about 10 minutes to get my neighbors to sign affidavits saying that I reside in my apartment. Who else listens to Swing Out Sister so loudly in the morning? Only me, baby. ("Ooooh Breakout"!!!)
June 15, 2007: I am apparently racist. My LOLED pics (below) got some peoples' panties in a bunch at SFist and SF Weekly. Folks were incensed at the notion that the grammatically incorrect tags were making fun of Jew’s limited English skills. Which was a racist assumption itself since Jew is a third generation San Franciscan who speaks perfectly good English. Talk about LOL! I love San Francisco!
Note to all persons who don't know how to appreciate a good LOL pic: Wait until you have about four hours to kill and then go to this site. An ztop ur whyning.
