Ok, so I'll just vote the opposite. Great, I'm all set for November.

So they get the far-left voters back from the Green Party? Is that their plan? Goodbye centrists...

@VenerableBede - Vote "yes" on the SFGH bond!

I would be -- will be? -- lost without you!

Agreed. We are lost.

I have come up with such a great punishment for you standing me up, but it's so not PC that I can't post it here. Thankfully, there's Spot's blog....

I thought it was interesting that after pushing so hard for IRV to make elections "nicer" and to give people chances to vote for folks without the "nader spoiler effect," when presented with a decision, Daly's Hope Slate chose to do single endorsements, and trashed the idea of 2nd and 3rd place endorsements.

It was also funny to hear him talk about "bullet voting" in IRV - which is IMPOSSIBLE - and overall to see the progressives act like the people they opposed 8 years ago.

Kinda sad to see so many members of the public pleading their case to a group of people who'd made up their mind already. The fact is even Jesus Christ himself could appear and tell them what he thought, and the Hope Slate would have just ignored them anyway.

Anyway, great to see you the other night, and congrats on DCCC rehab!

You forgot the progressive pimp measure. Prop K. The DCCC voted to endorse Prop K which tells the cops to ignore all pimps, traffickers and prostitutes and defunds a program to help women who want out of prostitution. Not just any program, this program is now a national model.

Of course Prop K was written by a convicted escort agency owner, Maxine Doogan, so it makes sense it would be all about pimps up ho's down. The fewer options ho's have to get out of the biz, the better life the is for the pimps.

I'm not sure when prostitution became a progressive value. My progressive friends are horrified. I guess they underestimated the San Francisco knee jerk response to anything mentioning sex, even if it's sex for sale at the end of a gun.

Parents in the outer neighborhoods are not going to be happy when brothels start popping up next door (and next door to the school.) When they call the police they'll be quoted Prop K and told there's nothing they can do. Congratulations San Francisco "Progressives". Way to go.
